Coaching Philosophy
To start with I worked with a lot of touring pro’s and elite amateurs, as my client based broadened so did my focus to the club golfer.
Got very interested in the science of movement and forces applied to the club, best learning protocols etc… technology took off and it required a lot of re learning.
Thats why there has never been a better time to be playing and improving at this beautiful but maddening game, the equipment is so much more effective and tailored, launch monitors, 3D modelling and the clarity that has created around how to get the most out of an individuals movement and delivery of the club.
With all that said the reality is for most they are not improving as they should, the average handicap has hardly moved for the best part of two decades and yet the gains at the elite level have been profound. Why?
Well for starters ask yourself the following questions…?
What are my primary faults and fixes?
How am I setting about becoming more accurate about improving them?
What does proper practice look like?
Do I have the right clubs?
What are my best personal numbers for attack angle, path, launch angle, spin rate?
How far do each of my clubs go?
When I am playing do I have a defined pre shot routine and course management plan?
If you answered yes to 4 out of the 8 you are in the top 10% of golfers I have surveyed.
Simple answers are always best and the reality for most golfers… they just don’t know how to get better and that’s where “a better way” comes from.
A formula / structure based on science, play, study, results.

All you need to bring is yourself, some motivation and willingness to practice accurately, it sounds a bit serious but what it is is seriously fun, to gain understanding, process, clarity and improvement in something as difficult as golf is a real joy.
